Its form is:
Adult males tend to be somewhat larger than females and develop brighter colors when they spawn. They may also develop more black pigmentation on their fins, although this is an inconclusive sexing method.

Temperature can range between 24ºC and 28ºC
Aquarium size:
Recommended size 36″ x 18″ x 15″ (90cm x 45cm x 37.5cm) – 160 liters
Feeding:
A good diet for Labidochromis Caeruleus can consist of:
- Canned food type: Artemia and mysis
- Dry feeding type: Flora Nature
Behavior:
A relatively peaceful species ideal for many hardwater communities. The ideal is to keep it in an aquarium in the Lake Malawi biotope with fish such as the peaceful Haps.
It can also be successfully combined with hardwater rainbow fish and some cyprinids.
It can be kept in groups, but becomes territorial when spawning.
Males can also be quite vigorous in their search for mates, so we recommend having several females for each male.
It can also be combined with other mbuna.
If kept in a Mbuna community, the tank should be overcrowded to reduce aggression and territory formation.
