AquaRIO NEO Bag Plus is a resin presented in small bags that allows the adsorption of positive ions (Cationic) such as Calcium and Magnesium in a short period of time so that they not only soften the water (Reduce Hardness) but also lower the pH values.
The majority of fish that we keep in our aquariums, with the exception of African Cichlids, are species that like waters with a neutral or slightly acidic pH as well as soft waters (low GH and KH). Unfortunately, many times the water in our area is too hard or alkaline to maintain these species and we are forced to use osmosis equipment.
Despite this, many times these values rise as a result of a poor state of the osmosis membranes, presence of rocks or other elements in the aquarium that increase the pH or hardness...
Thanks to Neo Bag Plus we can adsorb these cationic compounds (positively charged) such as Calcium or Magnesium that cause an increase in hardness and consequently high pH values, maintaining neutral or slightly acidic and soft water in our aquariums.
USE GUIDE:
※ Before use, shake the NeoBag in clean water about 20 times.
※Use one NeoBAG Plus for every 60L of water to be treated. You should place it inside an external or backpack filter, preferably placing it in the place where the water flows better and cleaner, that is, in the baskets or final areas of the filter before the water returns to the aquarium.
※ It is important that the flow of water received is adequate since if the water passes too slowly through the NeoBag its effect will be limited.
※ Warning: When shaking it, it is normal for the water to come out slightly dark, this is due to the black balls of activated carbon, which will slowly disappear in one or two months. This slight staining is not harmful to the aquarium or its inhabitants.
WARNINGS :
Performance will depend on the flow of water through the NeoBag as well as the degree of contamination present in the aquarium water. Do not use this product for uses other than aquarium waste disposal.
