The function of AquaRIO NEOSkimmer V2 is to remove the surface biofilm from the aquarium.

The NEOSkimmer INVINCIBLE is an accessory designed to be attached to AquaRIO NeoFLOW pipes.

It corresponds to a surface skimmer that is attached to the outlet pipe and that will eliminate the annoying and unsightly biofilm that forms in the upper layer of the aquarium water.

It comes in two sizes:
- Size M compatible with NEOFlow M pipes for 12/16 mm tube
- Size L compatible with NEOFlow L pipes for 16/22 mm tube

NeoSKIMMER INVINCIBLE improvements compared to V2:
1) The power of the Skimmer is much easier to adjust.
2) The buoyancy of the upper cap has improved considerably, specifically it can hold 65% more air than the previous version, therefore it will operate more stable and efficient.
3) Includes a small mesh that can be optionally attached to the central hole to prevent the Skimmer from sucking in fish, shrimp or snails. Its use slightly worsens the buoyancy of the Skimmer, although even when using it it is more efficient and stable than the previous version. If your priority is strong biofilm absorption and your aquarium lacks small inhabitants you may choose not to install the mesh.

Advantages and Features of NeoSKIMMER INVINCIBLE:

NeoSKIMMER corresponds to a surface Skimmer whose operation is based on the Bernoulli principle according to which the pressure reduces when the flow increases.

As the main feature that differentiates it from other Skimmers, the NeoSKIMMER is installed on the outlet pipe and NOT on the inlet pipe, which fundamentally brings with it two advantages:

1) There is no air entry into the filter, which eliminates many of the annoying noises characteristic of external filters that occur when a skimmer is installed on the inlet pipe.

2) It is much safer for small fish and invertebrates, since if they are captured by the skimmer float they will be immediately returned to the aquarium and will not be trapped in the filter.

Its operating principle to eliminate BioFilm is based on the fact that when it passes at high speed through the outlet pipe, it is finely crushed, losing its buoyancy capacity, which is why it will finally be trapped by the filter inlet where it will decompose by biological action.

In addition, you can regulate its power adapting it to the needs of the tank and even with the softest configuration the result is really good. To adjust, we must rotate the central stem so that the angle formed by the wedge piece with the outlet flow varies until the desired effect is achieved.

HOW TO ADAPT NEO SKIMMER INVINCIBLE TO NEOFLOW V1:

If you want to install NeoSkimmer INVINCIBLE on a NeoFlow V1 pipe, it is possible to do so without having to buy the entire set of pipes again, since the diameter of the versions is similar, only the length that is introduced into the water changes.

For this reason, the brand, taking advantage of the fact that the pipe is easily cuttable, recommends cutting the long side of the outlet pipe to 11cm and attaching the NeoSkimmer INVINCIBLE there, leaving the 8cm side outside the aquarium hooked to the hose.
