CLARITY™ is the only clarifier on the market that does it all: it cleans all types of turbidity, including chemical and particulate turbidity (e.g. removed bottom gravel).
It is the most modern clarifier on the market, it uses an advanced polymeric flocculating agent that makes it safe for both reef and fresh and salt water.
It is also a plant and reef safe product.
Because it's different?
Many companies make multiple products to clean each different type of turbidity and for each different type of media (e.g. freshwater, marine, reef, etc.).
Some companies have developed products that clean any type of cloudiness, but their application requires two different bottles.
Clarity™ contains compounds that will clear any type of turbidity in all media: it contains both precipitating and flocculating agents in the same bottle, making it easy for all types of turbidity to be removed with a single dose.
When you add Clarity™ to water, a cloudy mist will begin to form. This is normal and means Clarity™ is starting to work.
The water is full of small pieces of floating matter that were not visible to the naked eye. Clarity™ makes those pieces of matter start to clump together. As they clump together, they form larger chunks of matter that are now visible, hence the cloudiness.
Once this matter has clumped together, it is a simple matter of mechanical filtration to remove the residue. Matter that was previously too small to be trapped in the filter media is now found in large enough clumps.
