FLOURISH NITROGEN™ is a concentrated preparation (15,000 mg/L) of nitrogen sources.
It provides nitrogen both in the form of nitrate and in the form preferred by plants, ammonium. However, no free ammonia is released because the ammonium in Flourish Nitrogen™ is a complex molecule and unusable until it is used by plants.
It also provides nitrate for those plants that can also easily use nitrate.
Because it's different?
Nitrogen is one of the three main macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium: NPK) needed by plants and can often become the limiting factor for growth in a flowering system.
Flourish Nitrogen™ is a concentrated mixture (15,000 mg/L) of nitrogen sources. Provides nitrogen in both nitrate and ammonium forms preferred by plants. However, no free ammonia is released because the ammonium in Flourish Nitrogen™ is complex and is not available until it is used by plants. Ammonium becomes available after conversion of urea (carbamide).
Flourish Nitrogen™ also provides nitrate for those plants that can easily use nitrate.
Because some plants prefer nitrogen as an ammonium ion and others prefer it in its nitrate form, Flourish Nitrogen™ contains a mixture of both nitrate and ammoniacal nitrogen.
For maximum benefit use in conjunction with Flourish Phosphorus™ and Flourish Potassium™ .
