HELP ADVANCED SOIL SHRIMP is a substrate specially designed for shrimp aquariums. It is composed of black grain of regular shape with a grain size of ca. 2.5mm diameter. The substrate includes natural components that have been carefully selected to create optimal water parameters for shrimp.
How does it work?
- Improved Water Parameters: Using the HELP ADVANCED SOIL SHRIMP, you will be able to maintain the carbonate hardness level up to 3°d and the pH level within the range of 5.5-6.5. These water parameters allow the most popular Caridina cf dwarf shrimp to be kept and raised without problems. cantonensis species, including the most demanding varieties, selectively bred in Taiwan (e.g., Panda, King Kong, and Red Wine) and most other freshwater shrimp of the genera Caridina and Neocaridina.
- Natural humic acids: The substrate releases large amounts of humic acids into the water, which have a very favorable effect on the reproduction of shrimp (by increasing their desire to reproduce, facilitating the maturation and incubation of eggs and the breeding of shrimp youths) . Additionally, the substrate enhances the growth of aquatic plants, which are an essential component of the shrimp environment, and provides an ideal habitat for beneficial filter bacteria.
- Animal safety: The pleasant dark color of the substrate makes the shrimp less skittish, increasing their feeling of comfort and security. Thanks to the dark background, you will get great pleasure from observing the beautiful colors of your pets.
The substrate is sold in practical 3-liter bags. One bag is enough for a standard shrimp aquarium setup.
