Exceptional performance – ULTRAMAX filters stand out for their high water flow (max. from 1000 to 2000 l/h), which allows them to operate effectively in very large fish tanks (up to 700 l). Furthermore, they have a large capacity and contain more filter cartridges, placed in comfortable and ergonomic baskets, with a capacity of 1.9 each (number of baskets depending on the model – from 3 to 5). Thanks to this, they guarantee excellent filtration, both mechanical and biological. They have a complete kit of filter cartridges, carefully selected for the needs of a typical fish tank.

Built-in prefilter – a novelty on the market. In the lid of each ULTRAMAX filter there is a large sponge pre-filter (approx. 0.6 l capacity). Its task is to capture large mechanical particles, preventing them from penetrating the interior of the filter. Thanks to this, they protect the device against the accumulation of sediments and allow the need to clean the filter to be limited to a minimum. Simply rinse the pre-filter sponge with tap water – this task takes just a few minutes and does not require disconnecting the filter from the power supply or removing it from the fish tank cabinet.

Very quiet operation – thanks to the 30 years of experience of AQUAEL designers, the structure of the filter pump rotor and its chambers, together with the ceramic rotor shaft, guarantee virtually silent operation. The filter can work in any room, even the bedroom!

Very low energy consumption – the AQUAEL company looks after the environment and its customers' wallets. For this reason, the innovative ULTRAMAX filters stand out for their low energy consumption, which allows you to reduce your electricity bill. The ULTRAMAX 2000 model has just 24W of power!

Safety of use – the water inlets and outlets on the ULTRAMAX filters have been equipped with solid double ball valves. This allows the filter hoses to be quickly and easily disconnected during cleaning and prevents any water leaks!
